Baby Massage,
Burngreave Children's Centre, 1-2pm.
Restarting
in late September - please contact Jenny on 252 5220 to book a place as baby
massage will now take place in six week blocks. Baby
massage can relax your child, reduce crying, help bonding and encourage
better sleep patterns! Mums and dads both welcome.

Parent and Toddler Group,
Burngreave Children's Centre, 1.30-3.30pm. Term-time only. Relax,
enjoy fun activities with your kids and meet other parents - dads and mums
both welcome! Featuring a den making session on
22nd March.
Tuesdays:

C.A.B. (Citizens' Advice
Bureau) sessions, Burngreave Children's Centre, 9.30am-12pm. Has
now restarted. Two
appointment slots at 9.30 and 10am, then a drop-in from 10.30am-12pm. Access help and info on a wide range
of issues e.g. housing, benefits, debt, disability, consumer issues,
immigration etc.

to 23rd March 2010. Learn how to bring out the best in your child
by listening and understanding, praising and encouraging their efforts!

Burngreave Children's Centre, 9am-12.30pm. Local families can drop-in and
discuss any concerns around their children with a worker from our Family
Support team, and get more information about our services.

Drop-in and see an SIL worker and get advice
and information about areas such as childcare/nursery places, activities for
children, education, careers in childcare/early years etc.

One Stop Shop - Advocacy
Sessions, Burngreave Children's Centre, 10am-12pm. An advocacy
worker from Sheffield PCT will be available on a drop-in basis (bookable
appointments also available), who can help parents with issues around
housing, debt, benefits, asylum status etc.

Cessation drop-in, Burngreave Children's Centre, 10am-12pm, 1st
Wednesday of the month (appointments are available in between - please
contact the Centre). Get help and advice around stopping smoking from a
trained professional.

Count Me In,
Burngreave Children's Centre, 1-3pm. From 10th June to 8th
July. Following on from the Families Love Books course above, fun ways for
your children (from birth up to 3 years old) to learn about numbers -
includes making a number sack. Identifies opportunities for developing maths
understanding with very young children through books, rhymes and songs. 9
places for parents are available - please book on 252 5220. You take your
children in with you so there's no separate crèche.

Rolling programme of workshops for parents and children from the Slovak
community looking at activities that parents can do with children e.g.
playdough, treasure boxes, and also at healthy eating.
